Background: Physical activity is a crucial component in improving heart function and quality of life, especially for patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). However, many CHF patients are reluctant to engage in physical activity due to CHF-related symptoms such as dyspnea, fatigue, and edema. Therefore, self-efficacy is needed to help build motivation, confidence, and consistency in regularly performing physical activity. Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationship between self- efficacy and physical activity among CHF patients at RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional approach with a sample of 150 CHF patients selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using the Cardiac Self-Efficacy Questionnaire and the short version of the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ). Data analysis was conducted using the gamma correlation test. Results: Based on the gamma test at a 95% significance level (ɑ < 0.05), a p- value of 0.066 was obtained with a gamma correlation coefficient of 0.304. Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between self-efficacy and physical activity.
