Background: Erectile dysfunction is the condition of a man's inability or difficulty in achieving or maintaining an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual activity. This condition can be caused by various factors, one of which is an abnormal or excessive Body Mass Index (BMI). Driver occupation is one of the professions with a relatively high prevalence of overweight and obesity compared to other occupations. Objective: To determine the relationship between Body Mass Index and erectile dysfunction in public transportation drivers at Malalayang Terminal Manado. Methods: Observational analytic with cross sectional study design. The sample consisted of 86 respondents selected using consecutive sampling method based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The research instruments used scales, microtoise and the International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF-5) questionnaire. Results: 64 respondents (74.4%) experienced erectile dysfunction and the highest percentage (29.0%) experienced mild erectile dysfunction. The majority of respondents had an excess BMI category (>25kg/m2) as many as 50 respondents (58.1%). Data analysis using the Chi-square test obtained a p-value = 0.006 (p ≤ 0.05). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between Body Mass Index and erectile dysfunction in public transportation drivers at Malalayang Terminal Manado in 2024.
